Donna Polk, Account Manager

When in doubt on a sales strategy, ask a (former) Girl Scout. They know how to sell. Even while running her cookie empire in grade school, Donna had a side business selling bookmarks made of glue and glitter to her classmates for 50 cents. Basically, she’s a prodigy.

Later, her degree in food science and human nutrition — with a concentration in hospitality management — from the University of Illinois led her to the hotel and restaurant world. That’s where we found her, after she rose up in the ranks to become the director of sales at a luxury hotel. (A feat she achieved by age 30. Nbd.)

She has hospitality-style people skills, taking relationship building to another new level. She also has a creative side that never stops producing. Podcasts (she currently runs two). Videos. DIY projects. Cakes and pastries (FYI, she uses beets to color her red velvet cinnamon rolls, then shares them with the office).

Basically, she was made for Stoltz. She speaks Spanish — and keeps her skills sharp with an instructor in Tuluca, Mexico. In her other spare time, she obsessively listens to Latin music and dances salsa, bachata, and other styles. But her main focus is always showing up as a great mom for her grade school son.

Overachiever? Yes, please.
