Emily is a doer. Out of rough strategic ideas and vague design dreams, she creates ads, campaigns, and entire lifestyle magazines. She also collects hobbies one right after another. Obviously, she’s made to be an art director at Stoltz.
Agency life hits the spot in her brain that craves newness. She loves the ability to switch up projects and clients to allow for some daily creative freedom. This extends to our more open dress code, especially after an internship at a shipping supply company required her to match her blazer to her pants. (Note: Stoltz does not have a blazer/matching pants policy. Nor have we ever before said “blazer.”)
When she first landed here in the West three years ago after growing up in the flatlands of Indiana and going to college at Purdue, the Boise foothills were the biggest mountains she’d ever encountered. Now, she’s camped near the Sawtooths, skied Baldy in Sun Valley, and hiked Cervidae in town.
So what is she currently hyper-focused on? Ballet is the newest. Daily New York Times games, especially Connections. Crocheting (she’s already made an organizer of yarn). Reading, mostly because there are so many types of books to get into when bored. Then there’s the occasional trip to Las Vegas just to people-watch on The Strip.
For Emily, inspiration comes everywhere, and turning any passing thought into something immediately real is her sweet spot. Ours, too.
