VRT “The Guide” Casting Call

We’re looking for a naturally funny, everyday-feeling talent to star in The Guide—someone who can deliver with warmth, wit, and charm.

Submission Deadline: Wednesday April 9th

Who: Any gender – late 20s to early 30s
What: Video for Valley Regional Transit
When: April 15th (specific times TBD)
Where: Boise, ID (specific locations TBD)

We’re casting the lead for The Guide — a confident, casually funny, and relatable character in their late 20s to early 30s. This role calls for a strong comedic performer with great timing and a natural, everyday presence. Someone who feels like your favorite barista or that Trader Joe’s cashier who low-key makes your day.

We’re looking for talent who can guide viewers with warmth, wit, and a touch of self-awareness—think Jason Sudeikis, Jenny Slate, Abbi Jacobson, or Ben Schwartz. Must feel comfortable on camera in public spaces. Improv skills a plus.

The Guide: “Dealing with parking and traffic, again???”
