Boise, IDAHO – September 11, 2020 – Stoltz Marketing Group (Stoltz), a 23-year-old Boise-based marketing agency, has announced the promotion of Tracy Hitchcock to Chief Operating Officer, a strategic move to support the woman-owned and -led agency’s current operations and future growth plans.

“Tracy has brought tangible, positive impact to the team since joining us last fall and this role is a natural fit for her as she continues to help define our vision, strategy, and processes moving forward. We’ve been incredibly lucky to experience so much growth over the past 18 months, and this transition will help set us up for success as we continue to partner closely with our amazing clients, as well as take on new projects and partnerships.” said Jaime Ekman, President & CEO of Stoltz.

Stoltz has served hundreds of local, regional, and national brands across a wide variety of industries for over two decades. In 2018, Ekman, the daughter of the agency’s late founder Ken Stoltz, took the helm of the agency with a clear vision in mind – to evolve Stoltz into a modern, full-service marketing agency that values passion for innovative problem-solving; meaningful client partnerships with companies that positively impact people; and a nurturing culture that is inclusive and supportive of all employees’ career goals, health, and happiness.

Hitchcock’s diverse career background includes four years as CEO of Boise-based nonprofit Create Common Good and 17 years in various technical, marketing and global innovation leadership roles at the J.R. Simplot Company. She offers a unique, hard-to-find mix of leadership strengths, including operational efficiency, business planning, and people strategy, with diversity, inclusion and equity as her guiding principles. She leads with passion, both at work and in her personal life, supporting many social justice and community organizations while serving on the Board of Directors for S H E (Style Her Empowered) and as a member of the Boise Police Department’s Chief’s Community Advisory Panel.

“Since joining the Stoltz team in the Fall of 2019, I have had the opportunity to learn about our amazing clients, dedicated team and truly unique culture.  I think I have found the work family I have been searching for where my business acumen can pair with my authentic leadership approach to further build on a culture that not only sees the potential of people and brands, but invites compassion, respect and a ton of fun.  I am thrilled to be a part of the agency’s evolution and sustainable growth” said Hitchcock.

Hitchcock’s promotion makes her an executive member of the agency’s leadership team, which includes Jaime Ekman (President & CEO), Kate Holgate (Chief Creative Officer), Julie Stevens (Chief Financial Officer), and Crissie Hoskins (Associate Creative Director).
