Stoltz Grows Leadership Team with Dir. of Brand Strategy

We are pleased to announce the promotion of Katherine Johnson to director of brand strategy.

In the role, Katherine will work directly with agency executives and serve as the high-level brand planner and marketing strategist for all clients, as well as assist with brand messaging on a daily basis. She will also play a critical role in internal business growth, marketing, and employee initiatives.

Katherine started with us in August of 2017 as a senior account manager, bringing a diverse resume of experience in marketing and communications across a variety of industries, including hospitality, entertainment and healthcare.

She previously led marketing departments at two prominent, local non-profits, the Treasure Valley Family YMCA and the Women’s and Children’s Alliance.

Stoltz President Jaime Ekman said the promotion was well-deserved and hard-earned.

“Promoting Katherine to director of brand strategy formalizes a role she’s been filling for many months now,” Ekman said. “Katherine’s ability to identify a brand’s unique place in the market, and distill their messaging into simple, powerful words is a gift, and one that we’re lucky to offer our clients.”

Johnson is a University of Idaho Vandal and has worked in the Boise area for nearly a decade. She’s a proud Idahoan and pours that passion into growing Idaho brands. Read more about her here.
