Shared mobility, moving people from one place to another via shared modes of transportation, is a fast-evolving industry in our country and right here in our home of the Treasure Valley. Valley Regional Transit (VRT), the Boise area’s premier transit authority, is putting a lot of energy behind improving the shared mobility services available to residents, which means there is more need than ever to educate the public on the how, what, and why of public transit.
In early 2019, as VRT’s flagship fixed route bus service launched some major service changes, we launched the educational brand awareness campaign titled, “Rider’s Education.” This campaign gives people the knowledge and tools needed to try the bus through a fun and clever creative execution designed to do one thing: empower people to leave their car at home and utilize public transportation for their commute.
