Stoltz Marketing Group (SMG) recently added two new members to its account services team — account coordinator Andrew Mentzer and production/media coordinator Joseph Eck. The duo will help support the agency’s growing client roster, which includes business-to-business and business-to-consumer companies in industries such as manufacturing, consumer packaged goods, financial services, insurance, outdoor recreation, commercial and residential real estate, and construction.
As an account coordinator, Andrew Mentzer will draw upon his experience in a number of professional realms, including start-ups, real estate development, journalism, and public policy. He holds a B.S. in Political Science, Masters Certification in Community & Regional Planning, and a Master of Public Administration Degree — all from Boise State University.
Prior to SMG, Mentzer founded Idahostel — Boise’s first international traveler’s hostel — and managed the Idaho Global Entrepreneurial Mission (IGEM) for the Idaho Department of Commerce. When he’s not helping clients achieve their marketing and communications goals, Mentzer volunteer-teaches travel classes for Boise Community Education, contributes to Boise Weekly as a recreation and travel journalist, and rides his motorcycle around Idaho’s backcountry.
“I am honored to work with the talented team at Stoltz,” Mentzer says. “I admire the agency’s unique ability to assist new and struggling brands with a hands-on approach that gets them noticed. I look forward to contributing to our clients’ success.”
Joseph Eck also joins SMG as production and media coordinator. Eck previously worked in sales and marketing for Cold Chain LLC in Boise. He attended Washington and Jefferson College in Pennsylvania, where he graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Business with an emphasis on Marketing and Entrepreneurial Studies. During college, Eck held a variety of marketing internships and positions with Crocs Shoes, Lacrosseallstars.com, the Pittsburgh Post-Tribune, and Pittsburgh-based ad agency Tailored Marketing. When he’s not at SMG, Eck can be found playing competitive sports, coaching Lacrosse, or exploring the outdoors.
