SMG created this direct mailer/product sampling kit to help Idahoan Foods convert restaurant operators. The kit included a sample bag of Idahoan dehydrated mashed potatoes, a measuring cup, whisk, short brochure and a coupon for a free case of product. From the 1600 kits sent, operators redeemed 1572 of the coupons (98%), resulting in 324 new Idahoan users—a 20% conversion rate.
